Tools

1. Lash Lift Tool or Y-Comb

  • Purpose: Used to lift and separate the lashes onto the silicone shield for even placement.
  • Storage: Store in a clean, dry, sterilised pouch or container.
  • Hygiene: Clean thoroughly and disinfect between every client.



2. Precision Tweezers

  • Purpose: To handle and place silicone shields during setup and to handle and place the lash covers over the lashes if needed.
  • Storage: Store in a clean, dry, sterilised pouch or container.
  • Hygiene: Clean thoroughly and disinfect between every client.


3. Lash Lift Rods / Silicone Shields (Various Sizes)

  • Purpose: Shape and curl the lashes during lifting; size determines curl intensity.
  • Storage: Store in a clean, dry, sterilised pouch or container.
  • Hygiene: If reusable Clean thoroughly and disinfect between every client, ensure fully dry before next use. Or throw away if disposable.


4. Mixing Dish / Tint Palette

  • Purpose: Used to mix tint and developer safely.
  • Storage: Keep in a clean, closed container when not in use.
  • Hygiene: Clean thoroughly and disinfect between every client.


5. Lash Lift Brush / Micro Applicator Tool

  • Purpose: To apply lifting, fixing, and nourishing solutions precisely to the lashes.
  • Storage: Store upright in a closed container to prevent contamination.
  • Hygiene: Clean thoroughly and disinfect between every client. Or if disposable; use a new one for each product and client.



Disposables

1. Microbrushes / Applicators

  • Purpose: For applying lash solutions, tint, and nourishing serums with precision.
  • Storage: Store in a sealed, sterile container.
  • Hygiene: Single-use only; discard immediately after each step and client.


2. Eye Pads (Lint-Free Gel Pads)

  • Purpose: Protect the lower lashes and under-eye area during treatment.
  • Storage: Keep sealed in original packaging until use.
  • Hygiene: Single-use only; discard immediately after each client.


3. Cotton Pads / Cotton Buds

  • Purpose: For cleansing lashes and removing product residue.
  • Storage: Keep in a closed container to maintain cleanliness.
  • Hygiene: Single-use only; discard immediately after each step and client.


4. Spoolies (Mascara Wands)

  • Purpose: To brush through lashes before and after the lift for separation, applying serum and styling.
  • Storage: Store in a clean container.
  • Hygiene: Single-use only; discard immediately after each client.


5. Gloves

  • Purpose: To protect both client and artist from cross-contamination.
  • Storage: Keep in original box or container, away from moisture.
  • Hygiene: Use a fresh pair for each client and dispose after use.


6. Cling Film (Optional)

  • Purpose: Some brands recommend using cling film over the lashes during processing to enhance solution effectiveness.
  • Storage: Keep in original packaging.
  • Hygiene: Use a new piece for every client; never reuse.



Products

1. Lash Cleanser / Pre-Treatment Solution

  • Purpose: To remove oil, makeup, and residue from the lashes before applying solutions.
  • Storage: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
  • Hygiene: Apply onto back of hand (with glove on), into dappen dish or on a cotton pad; never dip into the bottle.

2. Lash Lifting Solutions (Step 1, 2 & 3)

  • Purpose:
    • Step 1 (Lifting Lotion): Breaks disulfide bonds to reshape the lash.
    • Step 2 (Fixing Lotion): Rebuilds bonds to set the new curl.
    • Step 3 (Nourishing Serum): Restores moisture and strengthens the lashes.
  • Storage: Keep sachets or bottles tightly sealed; store in an airtight container once opened.
  • Hygiene: Discard opened sachets after 24-48 hours or as per brand instructions.


3. Lash Tint & Developer

  • Purpose: To darken and define the lashes, enhancing the lifted effect.
  • Storage: Keep tightly closed and away from heat and sunlight.
  • Hygiene: Mix fresh for each client; dispose of any remaining product after use.


4. Nourishing or Keratin Serum (Optional)

  • Purpose: Strengthens, hydrates, and conditions the lashes post-treatment.
  • Storage: Follow manufacturer’s storage guidelines.
  • Hygiene: Apply with a clean microbrush or disposable applicator.
